CAN (Career Advancement Network) hosted the Skill Up – Werk Klaar workshop in Hilversum on 21 February 2025, delivering practical career guidance for members of the African diaspora in the Netherlands.
The small-group setting enabled highly engaged discussions, direct mentoring, and honest experience-sharing across care, technical trades, retail, and CV development.
Participants left with clearer employment pathways, language priorities, and actionable next steps. The strong interaction confirmed the need for accessible, community-based career support and skills development initiatives. CAN is expanding this work through future workshops and welcomes collaboration with sponsors and partners committed to improving workforce access, inclusion, and long-term professional growth.
